Music Educator. Podcaster.

Author. Encourager.

This is a space for music educators, goal setters, and friends.

For years I felt like my voice didn’t matter. There were plenty of amazing music teachers out there with great content to share. What I had to say might not be needed. Or so I thought. Over time I began to feel gentle nudges towards posting lesson ideas and sharing from the safety of our closet as I recorded podcasts for teachers to find ideas and encouragement, Now I help educators like you with lesson creation, goal setting, and tools to make your teaching life better. I’m so glad you’re here!

My ultimate goal is to help you find new ideas for the classroom and discover how you can make these ideas work for you. I’m here to remind you that who you are and what you do matters. You make a difference. You have something to share! And what you bring to your students is nothing short of amazing. This site is a place where you can find everything from blog posts to podcasts to online courses to help you continue to grow as a teacher and human outside of the classroom. Let the fun begin!

Helping you find confidence in yourself and your teaching

We all have those days where we’re uncertain that we’re in the right place. Or if we’re meant to continue where we are. I love helping you find purpose and passion in your teaching and in your life.

Sharing stories and ideas to spark curiosity and provide practical steps

Every Tuesday a new episode of the How To Teach Music with Jessica Grant Podcast goes live to encourage you in your daily life as a teacher. These episodes provide fresh ideas for creating lessons that work for you and your students. I’ll give you practical steps to help you starting on day one of your first year through year 20 and beyond.

Listen in as I share music education topics, teacher health and wellness tips, goal setting steps, and life experiences. Enjoy learning from education experts about these same topics! I love hearing about all you’re learning and the projects you initiate with your students as a result of what you discover within these episodes. Listen in wherever podcasts are streamed (Spotify, Apple Music, and more).
