Dice Chance Composition: MSL

This activity involves dice, rhythms (quarter, eighth note pair, sixteenth notes) and pitches Mi, So, La. Students roll a dice to determine the order of the rhythms for an 8-beat phrase. They roll the dice a second time to determine the pitches for each beat. Students can then write their melody on a two-line staff.
